Den første konferanse til NOVAs Nordic Centre of Excellence finn stad 24.-25. oktober i Oslo. Blant dei inviterte innleiarane er Kristin Clemet, Mogens Lykketoft og Ann Shola Orloff. Dei nordiske velferdsstatane blir granska når forskarane skal diskutere utfordringane som møter den nordiske velferdsmodellen.
Konferansen er meint for beslutningstakarar, organisasjonar, media og forskarar frå dei nordiske landa.
